More FAQs- Can I strip floors with urethane finish?
- How long will it take to have my hard floors coated with urethane?
- When will I be able to walk on my floors after a tile & grout cleaning?
Urethane is strippable, if necessary. However, when the product reaches the end of its life cycle, it can be abraded and recoated without stripping. ServiceMaster Clean of Aurora and Newmarket has products and procedures designed specifically for this purpose.
Preparation will depend on the condition of the existing floor, current number of coats, repairs required, etc. The coating application can be accomplished at a rate of 750 square feet per hour with a two-person crew.
Stay off freshly cleaned tile floors for at least 30 minutes. Avoid getting any liquid on the floor for 24 hours until the sealant cures completely if grout sealing is included as part of the service.
